Patient Survey

Our patient survey has now closed.  We will be publishing the results and recommendations by 28th February, 2012.

Thank you to everyone that  took the time to complete the survey. Your views are very important to us and we look forward to implementing your ideas for providing a better service for all our patients.

Patient Participation Group

We would like to encourage our patients to make a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice and are actively seeking volunteers who wish to be involved in our Patient Reference Group (PPG).

We aim to gather around 8-16 patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

Patient participation is, patients working with the practice to;

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of services
  • Foster improved communication between the practice and it's patients
  • Help patients to take more responsibility for their health
  • Provide practical support and help to implement change

We ask that members attend a PPG meeting held at the surgery (always in the evening) approximately once every month.

We had our first introductory meeting on the 6th September, 2011.  The first tasks the PPG will undertake is the formulation of a survey for patients and to help with our new quarterly newsletter.

Our next meeting is Tuesday 28th February 2012, 7-8pm at Husbands Bosworth Surgery.  If you are interested in joining the group please ask reception for an application form or email Eleanor Kilpatrick on eleanor.kilpatrick@gp-C82109.nhs.uk
